Rheebridge is committed to working with local and national organisations who make a positive contribution to the world we live in and is proud to be supporting the important work undertaken by Tom’s Trust. The Trust is a local charity that supports children with brain tumours and its 2013 Auction of Promises aims to raise more than £40,000 to hire clinical psychologist to provide essential support to young patients and their families.
The Rheebridge sponsored event takes place on Saturday 21 September 2013 in the historic surroundings of New Court, Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. It will include a champagne reception, a three course dinner, an inspirational speech by the record breaking polar explorer, Caroline Hamilton as well as the Auction of Promises, facilitated by Mr Bill King, Chairman of Cheffins.
“We held this event 18 months ago and raised a staggering £40,000, so this year we are hoping to raise more as we are well on our way to hiring a Clinical Psychologist to work within the first rehabilitation service dedicated to children with brain tumours,” said Debs Whiteley, Trustee, Tom’s Trust. “Some of the amazing Promises we have on the list for the evening, include a Porsche Track Day, a signed Bobby Charlton shirt, plus the chance to be a guest at the final of the X Factor,” said Bill King, Chairman at Cheffins, Estate Agents, Cambridge.
“We are always keen to support local charities and non-profit organisations so are delighted to support Tom’s Trust with this event to raise much needed funds for an extremely worthwhile cause,” said David Rapley, Founder and Managing Director, Rheebridge.
